Just wanted to let you guys know that I have not been slacking off. Have been getting some little thing done, such as dipping the carbs and cleaning them up...
I painted the header and pipe...
Thank you Rob for giving me the grinder, a must for cleaning up these little parts for prep for paint...
Continueing to clean up the frame etc while I can get at everything. Coming along nicely...
Question...Anyone have any tips on painting plastic and rubber? This is my rear fender and it looks pretty shabby and I would like to paint it.
Got my stage 3 dyno kit today from Z1 along with my new pods too!No signature :(

If the plastic fender isnt gouged up too bad try hitting it with WD40, which will clean it and make it shiny. There's paint you can buy for plastic, as in patio furniture, but why risk having it flake on a part that's kind of a pain to get to? Your project is coming along great. All that meticulous work you're doing will really pay off.

I cleaned the parts- let 'em dry and shot 'em with bumper, trim paint. No sanding, no primer. Easy peasy.

Hey it's a $600 bike
Pouring large chunks of Kosher Salt into open wounds is not very nice at all.
So, how soon does the 750 become a distant memory anyway?
