Speedo??
I got a 82 gs850g last week owner said he replaced the speedo.He laid it down in gravel, very minor damage. my question is what is the correct speedo for this bike? It now has he 140MPH speedo on it.

That looks a little different than my wife's '82 850GL.
She has a side stand light in there, too.
Was that a feature on the "L", but not on the "G"?

My center light cluster is the same as photo. I have not seen another 850g with a 140MPH speedo. Thanks for the info on the tac cable I did what you asked and cable will not turn. What do I use to lube new cable or do I need to?Comment

there are 140MPH speedos on UK bikes(my GS1000 had a GS850 speedo fitted when I bought it) don't know about Canada though.JohnnyComment
