    Found a Skunk on the side of the road

    As the title say's, I found a skunk on the side of the road this morning on my way to go grocery shopping with the other half. [ We do this together every Sunday] So I am heading out of town and I see this skunk on the side of the road. I tell the wife I have to go look at it a little closer, so I turn around and go back. I look it all over and tell the gut I'd be back in a couple hours that I was on my way to Keene and would take the bike. So he pulled the for sale sign and when I got back I went and bought it. I got it for little bit of cash $100.00 and clean another set of carbs for the guy[ carbs are for a Honda CB350 twin] and he has already bought the new floats and carb kits. SCORE Now for some pics;

          Nope, orange, but your orange front ones are the stock ones either. Here's an example

            Ok that what I had thought, but wasn't sure. I do have a couple Suzuki GT's that came stock with red rear's but they look different also.

              Looks a lot better than the skunk I found in front of my house last year.

                I'm sure this one smells better also. Even though there is alittle moss growing on the air filter

                  I'm sure Steve was able to get that skunk in his garage, do a lttle wrenching and get him back on the road.

                    Nah, it wasn't shaft-driven.

                    That is what greeted me as I got home from one of my trips. I had actually taken my Wing on that trip, you can see the trailer up beside the white car. I had not even made it into the house yet, just got off the bike, took off my helmet, grabbed my camera out of the trunk and took the pictures.

                    I thought it was a wonderful "welcome home", though, as we have a family story going because of a skunk that I had hit a few years earlier.
                    I was even given a Beanie Baby skunk because of that.

                        believe it or not Dana, not 2 miles from the house, right across from Ed's tire down on Canal Street.I've been looking for one for a while which you knew. Well we have another winter project if you are interested. Got a golf cart coming to, may be a candidate for that 600 bandit motor

                          Talk about the right place at the right time.
                          Sounds like a good project, but it's got to have red in it
                          Hmmm, 600 engine in a golf cart, quite a trike !

                              Only missing 1 and the guy said he thought he had it, along with the cover that goes over the air filter.
