Finally got the forks done and fitted. This was an expensive bit - new springs and service parts, plus several stainless steel pieces.

I'm progressing slowly. At the moment I'm polishing the front wheel. The discs and all the fasteners are ready to fit. I'll post some more photos sometime soon.

Took a while, but I finally have the front wheel finished and fitted.

Next up is the rear caliper. I've already dismantled it - it will be expensive!

Things have moved very slowly over the winter, but I've managed to get a few bits done - brake calipers, air filter box, engine mounts etc.

              Now to deal with this.......

Better than black all down the sides.

                    That's very true.

I've managed to find 650 barrels, pistons and head. If I decide to go ahead with a 675 conversion, what else do I need?

A die grinder, 650 gaskets, 650 exhaust or make some spacers to use the 550 exhaust.
You will need to split the cases, might want to get oil seals for the countershaft, etc unless yours are fairly new.

You should already have the CV carbs, you will need some different jets, that's about it.

I'm planning on splitting the cases whichever way I go, and have carbs waiting for a rebuild. I'll make a final decision on which top end to use once I have everything cleaned and checked over. At the moment I have two complete top ends (one 550, one 650) and an extra 650 head.

Will I need spacers to enable tke 550 exhaust to reach into the 650 head?

Engine just about finished. It didn't need any major work, just a good overhaul.

Finally got time to do a few odd bits:

Typing Gray then Grey is a cause of great consternation.
Any Suzuki snowflake wheel I have seen was black.
