So Picked up the 1100 motor and with help of a buddy and Steve we got the 1100 in the frame of the 750.

All the mounts lined up pretty nicely except the lower front... all three main long bolt mounts fit nicely and are snug. 4th Mount necessary???

Steve and I plugged away shooting the poo and slowly putting thing back together and getting the bike setup to run the new 1100 motor!
Clutch cable, Tach cable, exhaust, all the wiring (minus stator), 3 out of 4 mounts, Brakes and foot pegs are back on. Frankenzuki also hooked me up with a nicer Black gloss tank which I like more then the other tank... Here is how she sits now.

Still more work to do, Steve taught me the art of solder so I will do the Stator, Have to clean the new carb rack I have. I have 3 options really, Stock 81 750L carbs (which fit and were on the bike), 78 750 VM's and 82 1100CV's...

I didn't get more done for I got home pretty late this after noon. 600 miles round for the motor today. It's nice to see a nice clean (big) engine back in the 750 frame

Thanks STEVE & DENNIS! Awesome help guys!

Well I put in another hour or so and got the carbs cleaned and installed wth the Dyno Jet kit. Love to say I got to fire her up but I believe I have run into an ignition issue. Bike wouldn't fire so I puleed the plugs and they do generate a spark it just seems to be a bit weak, not the usual big blue spark. Using the Dyna S on the bike. Going to re run through my wires and grounds when I get a chance tonight after work. I pulled the carbs and using the old starting fluid directly into the manifolds technique until I get some sign of life.
          Keep you posted. Any.inishght?

After 4 hours of tinkering. I reverted the bike back to the stock ignition system. Finally I got pop from the exhaust. I installed the 1150 Carbs for I knew that they were clean 100% and the bike would not crank over and only pop intermittently from the exhaust.

Went through and tighten the spark plugs (for they weren't very tight) and tired again. After a long labored crank the bike puttered to life. SUCCESS!!! Well for now.

It idles ok but dies after a while... Labored in building up the RPM till about 4k then boom right to redline. Not expecting it to run all that good off the Carbs from the 1150 which is setup for a big bore setup. I plan on swapping on the 1100 carbs and now that she fires up and I know the motor actually fires and runs I can focus on carburation. I also have to rerun the old stock ignition system. Put a smile on my face for sure!!!

            Video of it idling

Still have to tighten the mounts, install the front sprocket & chain and re run the ignition wiring. I also plan on swapping the tank with the nice High gloss stock black with red pins 1100 L tank.

Off to work I have to prep up for black Friday.
