Third time

My supercharged and fuel injected EFE is beginning to look a little boring.
So itīs time to make a "facelift".

The starting point:



First thing to do was a new belt guard:



then the better flowing sc outlet:



new stainless fuel rail for the E85 fuel:

Because the fueltank and tail/seat are going to redone the electric stuff need to relocate:



main electrical things relocated and started to making the new fuel tank:

Then was time for the seat/tail unit.

The engine needs new update too.

Original EFE cylinder block without cylinder liners:

It wasnīt polished before. It was painted with chrome paint.
Iīm going to leave the tank and seat unit finish after eccentric grinder and 1500 grit grinding disc.

Yesterday and today Iīve been working with the seat lock and glued & formed the seat padding.

Itīs not finished yet, it needs more forming before I can take it to the saddle maker:

That is a really, really, awesome looking motorcycle. In either the "before" or "after" incarnation.

I bet (if you haven't) you'd have no problem at all getting that bike into some magazines if you sent out some pics and such.

I really like how in the first incarnation, the nose of the fairing really matched the tail of the bike, are you going to do a similar thing for the new tail?

I try to keep it simple this time so no front fairing, only 7" round headlamp.
