Bike has been sitting under a cover, well the frame has been anyway as it hasnt progressed anymore than a painted frame.
Saving up for an overseas trip so spending on it has stopped but i can still work on it.
My front forks are extremely badly pitted and its about $350 to get them hard chromed to as new condition. But i have a good used set waiting for me.
So as the bike sits its a painted frame and i'm abit lost as what to do to it next, is it best to give the engine a top end rebuild and put it in the frame or put front and rear ends back on once they are rebuilt and put the engine in last?
I'm thinking engine now as the 750 weighs to much to be lifted into the frame once its assembled.

Long time no update, the frame and its parts are now all painted, the engine is on the work bench and the clutch is now all apart for a refresh.
I think the springs have worn to much out of the clutch basket to be used again.
Where do i get new driven plate springs from? they are loose in their housing. Would you reuse the clutch basket?

Hey Guys,
Long time no post, the bike has made no progress lately, i've been flat out with Uni and work lately, its so bad that the last time i went into the garage there were cobwebs everywhere!
I need to get this bike finished so i can move on to my major project so watch this space!

i quite like the tail section on it, its cheaper for me to put a cafe tail section on it and clip ons than it is to get the original seat retrimmed.

Long time no Post!
The bike has been in storage for a while now, i had surgery on my foot in March and wont be allowed to ride for another 8 months or so. This was my foot just after stitches were being taken out. Its alot better now but still having physio to get movement back. FootStitchesremoved.jpg

The bike now sits downstairs in its temporary new home, front brake parts have been painted ready for kitting out with new pistons and seals.
Carbs have been cleaned up, caps painted and stainless steel alley head bolts replace the original worn out phillips head bolts.
Engine is almost ready for some new paint before it goes back in the frame and i can rebuild the bike around the whole lot.
