Thanx! Love my Buell to bits!

    Got me hooked on twins.

The light choice is weird - I hope it works (visually), though I think it might be a bit small.
Looks like a cruiser style light.

We looked at options mounting from ignition, but the the deep bucket of headlight would make the light sit too far forward.

I will try and snap the light later on.

I would have gone for a chunkier light, but that's just me...

Yep, definitely a fan of my 7" H4 light... that is way too small...

Stumbled upon this today on CL. Maybe some inspiration or anti inspiration...

          ***Suzuki Army Bike 1000cc*** - $3500 (Colonie)

This is a fully customized one of a kind army replica motorcycle. Bike is built on a 78' Suzuki GS1000 frame with a 1000cc motor. Other than motor bike has been fully restored, shocks, tires, brakes, bolt on parts practically new. Bike has many military extras (radio, grenade, shotgun, flashlight, compass, pistol, tear gas, etc.) this is a must see and cannot be compared to anything out there. Bike is a head turner and a great conversation piece. Dont have time to ride it so need to get rid of it. Respond by email (no insulting offers or trades)

Thanx, but technically it is only 1 as the other one is 95% done - which reminds me, I have to follow up with the electrical dude.

Lots of time in the garage means less time doing other stuff (incl riding), but I like it, though now that winter is approaching on our side I want to go ride...

                    You'll get around to it!

Well, this is on hold indefinitely... my brother-in-law got a promotion last week and is moving 8 hours away starting 1 June.

Who knows...maybe I'll take it over from him if he's not keen to continue.

                        Umm... congrats... and bugger... haha

Good on him for getting a promotion, let's hope he tells you to keep going with the bike

I'll secretly continue on things that don't cost money (or input!). Hopefully he regains interest and allows me to continue or maybe I'll make him an offer should he consider to not continue.

JvZ, have you figured out a mount yet?

Well, I have enough to keep me busy for now. We are moving house in 2 months and I will lose my precious double garage for a single, so I am trying to wrap up as much as I can. Refurbished an old record player (will post some pics when done) and starting on the one retro fridge this coming weekend to finish prepping and painting it.

Indeed I did, finished it up today and took a pic just for you. Unfortunately but of a rubbish pic though.

It is basically a morse shoe shape to go around the ignition, it fits between the ignition and the top triple clamp. I cut the threads off and welded the headlight mount directly to my bracket. The headlight will now live upside down.

I also stripped all the chrome off and will be painting it all, hopefully I'll get some pics up next weekend?

Sorry to hear about the garage!

Thanx! You must show it on the bike - would like to see how it works.

We battled with ideas to mount our one.
