alright so after getting my act of congress signed to get this thing registered in hawaii, i can finally start seriously getting into this, the bike is pretty much bone stock, sadly, being on a military base i dont have the facilities to do a complete tear down and do it right, hopefully i can make it decent project to keep me busy for a while anyways, so ive ordered clubman bars, a seatpan, new control levers, mirrors, and some of the lights, this is going to be a mostly cosmetic build right now until i find a place where i can get seriously tear into this thing as i would like to change the exhaust at some point down the road, one quick questions, anybody have any tricks to getting the corrosion off the fins and block without pulling the motor?, thanks in advance guys

GSCafe, give the auto hobby shop a call and ask about bench time. I did that today and am being allowed to put my engine there while I rebuild it. I'm moving this weekend into a house that doesn't have a garage or any sheds at the moment.
