Just tonite, I went to install the "T" seat and the rust build-up sprayed a good amount on the secondary airbox. And the latch/key was also giving me grief.
I'm gonna have to learn how to do things at a slow pace...I want things to come together...right away. The anticipation is exciting.
Good luck with your project...and keep us updated with pics.

thanks guys i done some measuring last nite and i can slide my forks up almost 3 inches and still have full travel in the front the only issue with that is ill have to run aan 1150e top tree or get clipons to put on the 3 inch part that sticks up above the tree but all and all everything im doing can be reversed if i want to later on im not choppin the bike up just subtle mods i dont need to go anymore than 3 inches cause that will sit me right where im wanting it plus im wanting to run a vance n hines 4 into 1 so that should give me just a bit more clerance and im also looking and a good set of progressive springs for the forks so it wont be so loose and sloppy like i said this bike looks awsome but it does need work the previous owner neglected it horibly so its time for a face lift on it

well agemax i just dont wana loose the ridability of the bike with the stretch or it bein rigid so since i had a b12 swing arm i decided to use it and do a b12/gsxr swap on the bike so i have alot of the stock stuff i will not be needing for sale

yes that is the neglected red beauty it takes pics very well but man the previous owner had it since 95 and did absolutely no mainance on it at all the clutch was clankin when i rode it home and since that picture was takin the bike was knocked over by the previous owner before i bought it and it was also left outside which led to dull faded paint and a ton of scratches on the tank from the tree it was parked under oh and the wheel bearings were shot and two of the exhaust studs were broke off in the head so yea it had its neglect problems that couldve been avoided by taking care of it but it still ran so i bought it im a fabricator and mechanic by trade before i got hurt a year ago so its all easy fixes for me to tell ya the truth i know these things are rare bikes but i would love to see some chopped or bobbed im a huge fan of the 70s style chopper and bobber but all anyone wants to do is cb750s
