    SHE'S ALIIIIIIVE ! ! !

Finished assembly this morning. Sync'd the carbs, and double checked every nut and bolt. Took her out for a spin, and wow is she happy to be alive. Like a dog that hasn't been out for a walk in 6 months, she just keeps on pulling. Got a little sputter near the top of the rpm range. Not sure what that is just yet. Might have to go up a main jet size or two?

Pictures tomorrow, as she is still kinda grungy. She sure does feel good though...

She still pulls hard at 130mph, Hahaa! I need to rejet though. Gotta go smaller a size or 2.

Ok, so I guess I skipped a couple of updates.

While waiting for a few parts and gaskets, I made some more things shiny.

Then my engine cover gaskets arrived...

              Freshly VHT'd header installed.

And of course when I got back from my first ride, my last package of parts came in the mail. New clutch cable and cover badges.

I also picked up a new gel battery from Interstate this morning, as BOTH of my batts were shot. One of them being NEW just last fall. The gel batt is supposed to last up to 3 years longer than an acid, and isn't affected by the cold weather. Which is likely what killed the other 2.

Oh! And a new chain as well... I will post some better pictures of the new 1100T after I get her cleaned up...

One last thing. I need a new name for her. I called her "the jet" because of 747cc. But now...

                      Oh man that is awesome.

So it pretty much just bolted in there?

Also, i suppose the title and insurance need to changed to reflect the new displacement, have you given any thought to that yet?

I think that is the first 750T on here, congrats!

Title says its a 750, we don't have all the crazy inspection crap most of you have to go through. The little bottom frame mount are the only thing that do not match up. I will have to fab some up soon. But until then I am running without them.

Well, I dropped down 1 jet size. It's kind of rainy though so I have yet to go wind her up and see how she runs flat out. I did take her for a buz around town and cracked her wide open a few times, and she took it well. Still need to really open her up on a long stretch. I also installed the new clutch cable and its still pretty stiff. I pulled 3 of the new springs out and replaced them with the old ones. It helped but still stiffer than desired.
