    have a dilemma guys

the two 1100s are far from any where near the road

but just got a gs850 79 model roll in the door kick start and all got her running easy and looks like shes all their

now have to decide whether to keep the two 1100s that need major work and so far only cost 1500 for both bikes and heaps of parts

or sell them of for what i payed for them and do the old 850 mmmm lost

I'd be tempted to stick with the plan of getting one custom 1100 going... then do the 850 as a resto maybe...

Keep the other bikes. Shaft drives are the worst and you'll regret keeping it down the road when you actually want to upgrade any part of it. Shaft drives seem to limit what you can do with a bike quite a bit

          they are all shaft drives

also i have a single car garage so keeping all is not an option

slept on it and the 79 850 is staying listed the other two pluss parts on fleabay for a buy it now of 1500 but prob let em go at 1200 as the motor in the grey one rocks.

and getting another one down the track isent a problem as ibuy and sell bikes all the time.

the kick start swayed me LOL

Aaaah you almost have as little space as I do! I have a workbench in front of one car and just enough room to squeeze the bike in between the garage door and the back of the car...

Sounds like a good call too...

ok so the 850 is up and running no rebuild needed
broke a bolt for headers have to get that sorted
and after looking at front brakes and the rarity of them from the 79 model im looking at some katana brake callipers so if some one has some or knows of some let me know please

most parts ordered now time for fabrication
