I am hoping to take some more pics this week. As it has to come out of the corner again . That means the BMW gets stuck in the corner now. I am liking this bike more every day.

As requested a photo of the bike as it is now. The carbs are going on tomorrow. And I have to tighten up all the bolts and nuts on the rear and front wheels and calipers and swingarm. And adjust the chain.

Today I finished of fitting the carbs and it wasn't a job to look forward to. And the acceleratorcable was the worst thing to fit. But now I know how it is done. I put the rocker cover on and fitted the petroltank.
I tried with a partly charged battery and pressed the button on the starter. I had set the revs higher as normal and it fired up and was running better then ever before.
Air screws set at 2,5 turns out and it runs like a new bike. One happy man here. Now hoping that the camtensioner doesn't leak as I did see a drop of someting below it but I did spray the camcover with wd40 to clean it. It could have run down on the tensioner. I did change the O ring and the seal but not the O ring below the big nut.

She's beautiful.
I know she wouldn't want you saying, but how many miles (kilometers?) on the odometer?
(Kilometers, right? I saw you wrote, "petrol." We don't call it that here. .)

The GS has done just under 55000 km so around 34375 miles. Was it fuel for your side of the world and petrol for our side?

And one more . The Hagon's are great. They fitted the springs that I wanted and I think they are better then the Koni's that I used to have on my previous Gs550's
