    wheel swap.

Can anyone please tell me definetely if the wheels off of a GS750 8 valve will go straight onto a GS1000 8 valve. Thanx.

straight swap as long as the 1000 isn't a G model.

I think you may need to swap wheel bearings, can't remember the axle size on the 750. I have 1000 wheels on my 550, the wheels are identical other than bearing ID, and the fact that the 1000 wire spoked wheels use an alloy rim, while the 750 and 550 use a chromed steel rim. Both have threaded holes for the second brake disc.

The cast wheels use the same wheel except for the bearing size.

You'll need bearings & poss the central spacer I think from memory (at least that's what I needed when going from GS750 ES to GS1000 but maybe different. The front might fit right out of the box if you're lucky.
