Podge GS850G rebuild starts - sort of.

    Part 3 (see previous page for other pics) Finally the grooves and backplate are painted black, and a couple of coats of lacquer applied. Total cost < £5, and still have most of a sheet of foil for other jobs.

      It was £165, inc VAT, collection and return delivery (UK).
      I'm sure that's what used to be Skinners Chroming. I used them a couple of times back when and they were good then, too.
      <edit> I see they're Philpots - I've used them too, no complaints.
      They used to be down near the town centre, in what now appears to be student accomodation, of some 1950s-inspired social housing experiment, according to Streetview.
