Just went through all 39 pages and this build scares me now that I have my GS down for maintenance (probably its first, from the state of things). The urge to tear it apart and dump money I don't have is strong. Love this build.

This is the cleanest harness build I've seen and I'm quite surprised at how small teh bundle actually ended up. Was there much in the way of circuits that you removed or were that many "extra" wires in the original?
I know you are trying to do a top job on this build all the way around so it probably does not matter in that respect but I'm wondering how much you needed to spend to get all those different wire colors, connectors and other odds and ends?

When I looked at the schematic for the original harness, I was blown away by how much unnecessary crap was in there - I quickly came to the conclusion that it would be far easier to build a new harness around my use of relays and new fuse panel rather than try to modify the old one. Once I redraw the schematic on a new sheet of paper I will post it here so anyone can re-create it.
Part of what adds a lot of time and some additional cost is that I have had to waste a bunch of terminals in an attempt to get things to lay where I want them - if a wire in a fuse holder is too short/long, it has to be redone, wasting the terminal. I back tracked until I found your test, very good. Too good to have a problem later.

This thread is amazing, and is full of great advice / product recommendations. This has inspired me to redo my wiring harness and apply a protectant to my polished aluminum.
