Yes I have night wets, because of how hard it is to find a tank like that. To make things wore not an ounce of rust thought about using screws to pull dent then cut out a section and tig weld a patch and repair. It would be a ton of work. Question about how to determine models of bikes my info tag is worn off still have stamped number in frame. Where wire wheel stock or an upgrade option. Mine are aluminum. Thanks for any info and more pictures to come.

You might try filling the tank with water and freezing it. You'll have to keep a close watch on it so it doesn't swell too much and split open.

Sorry. I was referring to the original one that was caved in on top. Never mind.
Rest of what you're doing looks good. I like the rear wheel. Lotta work there...
