    "O" rings list

    Hey everyone,

I am looking for the "O" rings specs for a Suzuki GS 850.
The bike has a lot of these rings, and while am rebuilding, i want to change as much as possible of them.
I had looked around in manuals en so one, but find only set on sale and bad service response.

The town where i live has a special shop for bearings and "O" rings, so if i had the correct specs..........

    any help welcome.

Virtually ALL of the o-rings on the bike are found in the carbs.

Why re-invent the wheel? Just order a full set of o-rings from cycleorings.com.

Depending on the year of your 850, that set will be about $19 for the VM carbs on the '79 or about $15 for the BS carbs on the '80-and-up.

All the right sizes, all the right materials, you just can't go wrong.

Also be sure to get the o-rings for the intake boots while you are there, as well as the stainless bolts that hold the boots in place.

I'm just appalled to hear this.

There are others. There are the triangular O-rings on the jug bases -- not exactly a routine maintenance item, and not something you'll find off-the-shelf -- and there's one on the starter. I think there's one on the final drive on the shaft bikes. I'm sure there are others, but if they're not leaking, why bother?
and God said, "Let there be air compressors!"

The carb rebuild tutorial linked in my signature details the O-ring sizes for CV type carbs. Most sizes are common, except for the pilot screw O-rings.
