Not to worry, my first oil change is between 30 and 50 miles after the first break-in test ride. The second one is usually about 100-150 miles later. (oil & filters are cheap, engine parts are not.)
The next one is 500 miles. Then 1,000 and recheck the valve clearances. Next one is 6,000-8,000 miles later as it is with synthetic oil on that one.

??? I did use the factory cam sprocket bolts. Those would certainly be hard to find not from a Suzuki dealer.

Not much done today at all. I did get the cam sprockets installed on the cams and the cams installed with new grade 12.9 Allan bolts to replace the factory grade 10.9 bolts.
I didn't look at the picture & thought you were referring to the cam sprocket bolts since you were talking about putting the cam sprockets on the cams. The cam CAP bolts are what you were referring to, I see, after looking at the pictures again. Some look at the pictures & don't read, I like to read & don't look at the pictures so much. LOL!

London, to increase the side load. I use similar tricks including doubling up the springs on Hi-performance Ford FE blocks like my 427 side-oiler and Buick's that use rocker rails also.

Some of today's progress. Most of these are a waste of time as no one will see them but might as well do a good job anyway.
Re-sealed, polished and clear-coated tach drive.
Resealed and slightly modified cam chain tensioner polished bits, painted and clear-coated.
Finished product next to nasty stock unit.
Tiny O-ring installed along with the stock gasket.
More shiny bits that no one will ever see but me.
Rear fenders installed sort of with new rubber bits.
Almost forgot, I cleaned, straightened some fins and painted these bits too.

Not much of nuthin' today but I did do something. After drowning the footrest mounts for a month or so in lacquer thinner to get the remaining clear coat off, I was toying with the idea of
polishing these old scratched up parts. After a bout an hour of very little progress, one of these rear mounts is almost done. Not sure if it is even worth the effort.
I also adjusted an oil cooler mount from an earlier GS1000 model to fit onto the '83 1100E frame and mounted it.
At this rate, the bike should be able to ride sometime in 2020 perhaps.
