They are stainless but I can't say where they came from as they were on the bike when I got it.

This bike is just like a woman... it just can't decide what to wear!

When it's too chilly to ride, it's time to get the stripes out!

            Damn, I like that.
Now I'm having second thoughts about changing mine from white (which it only ended up as because of self-preservation reasons, in heavy traffic).

Very cool bike. I hope mine is as much fun to ride when it's done as yours.

For being a hacked up gs, that actually looks awesome. I dig it

Been some changes since my last update here... been stealing old parts off of the 80 for my 83 GS1100E project and replacing them with new stuff...

                  ... like these Delkevic pipes!

The 83 took the Renthal ultra-low bar so I stuck the factory clip-on set-up from the GSXR1100 front end on...

I didn't want to run a big muffler on the bike so I decided to try just putting a baffle into the collector pipe of the Delkevic... sounds great, and not too loud. Win!

Bought new OEM badges for the side frame covers...

                  Much better...

Looking good. Plus that exhaust won't fall off.

I've admired your bike for quite a while, and it looks good with these improvements, but I've always wanted to say I thought it would look better wit an 8" light on it.

It would, but they're rare and expensive. I've been thinking of the stock rectangular one too, but again they're hard to find in nice shape for a bargain price. My $20 scrapyard special stays for now.

I wondered about what looked like an open header when you first posted that pic.I'd have thought you'd loose a lot of HP that way, guess the 1100 has enough to burn some

I can relate to the $20.00 light being good. No lunch boxes please......
