The only thing with the GS1000G frame is the swing arm pivits are total differnt than the chain drive and will be a lot more work, good if your putting a wider swing arm in like a latter gsxr1000 etc Pic below is my GS1000, it's a GS1000G frame with a zx9r swing arm in and GS1000 chain drive motor, you can see how the frame differs at the swing arm points. also the mounts on the G frame are not the same as the chain drive, so you'd be starting from scrach with that.

GSF1200 engine mounts
Hi,
Did you have problems with fitting the exhaust. I have tried a number of different engine mount templates (posted) but the exhaust manifold hits the down frame cross member. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

XR750
I just acquired a GS750 for the project base and haven't started into it yet. Another member did a build with a GSXR1100 engine and I recall him reworking the header to fit. Do a search for a project titled 82 GS750E to GSXR1215 restomod.
