    1982? Gs650e

Hey guys I just got off the phone with a guy I know that is trying to sell his GS650E to me. It doesn't run because of the ignitor or thats what he says.

What do you think should I pull the trigger on this one? I have a 550l that I am building custom and I think it would be cool to have a stock 650E.

Honestly what you you pay for non running 650E I believe its a 82'. He told me a hundred bucks.

    Go for it.

You can find an ignitor for about that much, too.

Then you do all the OTHER maintenance it probably needs, and you will have a very nice bike.

Yep, $100 is dirt cheap and you can't really go wrong at that price. Worse comes to worse you can always part it out and make money.

I agree. You could also just replace the stock ignition with a Dyna S for about $120.
