80 Gs 1000 Australia
Started taking apart this old and long stored (by me and by the previous owner) Gs 1000, got it completely refinished to the frame, polished some engine parts, put it together thinking all I had to do was put some oil in her and away I'd go. Well I'd never known the bike to run, I'd purchased it in the aforementioned condition and when the oil went in it came out of the bottom, someone had, must have been while it was broken already, drilled a hole in the bottom of the engine. Needless to say I'm in the process of taking it apart again to get it welded. Maybe the guy knew it had the hole in it when he sold it to me.Tags: None

That's what we Yanks call a bummer
