            It's a small thing, but it's easier to read the threads and view the images if you insert the link from a photohost like Photobucket. It also allows you to include up to 10 images per post.

            Of course, all of it can be a bit more difficult if you are doing it all from your phone

              This is something I have been wanting to do for years, since I love two strokes....
              But I have always had too many other project to deal with, and no ability to do any machining...
              Heres a few snowmobile powered bikes I saw while at US131 raceway

                From now on I will add the pictures from photo bucket. I didn't know I could do that.

                Last night we made a engine mount from 1/4" steel. We used the 4 bolts on the bottom of the engine to build our mount from. Since we needed to lift the engine a few inches from the frame we used 5/8" solid steel tubing and built posts, and welded the posts from the frame to the plate.

                The engine will be easily removable by removing the 4 bolts and sliding the engine out.

                Of course it is solid mount so it might shake a bit, laugh out loud.

                I will get some pictures to show my progress.

                The posts don't look good, so i will end up using some sheet metal and skin over the posts to make it look better.

                        We built the exhaust. We used the flanges to the head from the snowmobile exhaust. And used DC pipes from a RD400 so we could have true duals.

                        We started it last night and it sounds good.

                        Now where setting up the oil injection and fuel system.

                          Hey sorry for not posting recently. We took a break working on it around christmas. But we got the cooling system piped and a radiator installed. Oil tanks are mounted under the seat. ended up using exhaust clamps to hold the tanks in place. Ill have to get some pictures.

                          Also started to mount the rear brake pedal, had to shorten the brake rod about 18" Not done that yet but getting close.

                          Also mounted the primer for the fuel, made a bracket and welded it to the front of the fuel tank so the primer is right in front of the handle bars.

                          Ill get some pictures tomorrow.

                            Almost ready for a test run down the road, setting up the lights currently. I have been busy lately and have had issues with the regulator/rectifier. I didn't want to run a battery but it is starting to look like I need to. The research I have been doing tells me that the regulator needs to see battery voltage in order to start charging the battery.

                            Once I get the charging system and lighting down I will test it and then disassemble and paint. Hopefully all is good and I don't need to engineer anything.
