    Still looking for -

High quality upholstery shop within 2-4 hours of Houston - 2 seats to do

high quality paint shop - 2 or 3 tanks, 2 side panels and a tail piece

recommendations welcomed - I'm looking for stock(ish) paint jobs that are factory/showroom quality and, yes, I know this won't be cheap - I'm after quality not budget.

one of the seats is an elusive giuliari two/four unit which I'm shipping in from Europe - needs recovering the other is stock 750/1100E and agin it just needs a quality recover .

just out of interest - what would you expect to budget for this work ?

If you are supplying the seat covers and the foam is in good shape, I would expect to pay between $75.00 -$150.00 per seat recover. Upholstery shops around here typically charge $75.00 per hour. I have seen reproduction Giuliari seat covers on eBay and as you know, Pit Replica is a good source for OEM reproductions.

Difficult to estimate with what little information you provided. There are lots of variables. However, I think you should expect to pay $1,100.00 plus for a quality paint job of a tank, side covers and tail. Anything less and I would be concerned with the quality of material and workmanship. If you are going for a high end restoration, plan on $1,500.00 plus.

There's a quality painter about 20 minutes NW of Austin; he painted a few body pieces for me and came out quite well. PM me if you need his contact info.
