    '79 GS750E Building somebody's build.

I bought someone's build, which I know isn't a good idea, but hey, it was dirt cheap.
What I know or checked out already:
    - Jetted for pods and aftermarket exhaust (vance and hines 4 into 1)
    - That's about it actually. lol.

This post is going to pretty much be whats happening and my questions to ask instead of blowing up the general maintenance thread.
I will update this or try to on a daily because I'm trying to get this done asap haha.

Thats pretty much the story of my life hahah.

Here's a quick put together of how it'll look like, probably will end up painting the fairings/tank to maybe a pearl white or something bright.

P.S. Does the rail face up or down? The service book wasn't too clear on this. (oil ring on the piston)

The factory manual is clear on the position of that
1978 Gs1085 compliments of Popy Yosh, Bandit 1200 wheels and front end, VM33 Smoothbores, Yosh exhaust, braced frame, ported polished head
1983 Gs1100ESD, rebuild finished! Body paintwork happening winter 2017:D

I would rather trust my bike to a technician that reads the service manual than some backyardigan that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix things.

Ah, you're right. I think I mightve just overlooked it.

So the past couple days I:

                  - Added more layers of clear coat to the frame.
                  - Got drunk (not while wrenching)
                  - Put the steering stem back together with new ball bearings, I should've switched over to the tapered bearings, but the original should suffice for now.
                  - Got drunk (not while wrenching)
                  - Ordered the right screws, didn't realize the oem screws were phillip head so I ordered allen head screws for the crankcase.

(I'll be painting the engine black once everything is more or less put together)

                  - Oh and I finally got this pesky petcock filter out of the gas tank. Man it was a pain in the ass.

This isn't much actually, but I'm taking it nice and slow, ᵇᵉᶜᵃᵘˢᵉ ᵗʰᶦˢ ᶦˢ ᵐʸ ᶠᶦʳˢᵗ ʳᵉᵃᶫ ʳᵉᵇᵘᶦᶫᵈ, and I want it to actually work.
I think I got the last of the internals coming in a couple days. We'll see how that goes, lul....
