The build was this:
1981 Suzuki GS550T, bought for 150 bucks with a clean title and a locked up engine. No Ignitor unit was included.
Chopped back of bike, welded up a tail hoop.
Built pans under seat, relocated all electronics out of the triangle.
extended wiring, new tail light with integrated signals.
new turn signals up front, fork gators, cut top of triple trees, put on clip ons.
LED turn signals required resistors, hard wired those in.
New headlight brackets, lowered headlight.
Peeled fender, pulled out the support, cleaned it up, painted it and put it back on.
rebuilt all brakes, including new rear master cylinder setup.
new grips, front levers, cables, ran totally gauge-less, have a digital HUD on my phone that mounts into phone mount for a speedo.
knocked knee dents into my tank, bondo and paint. blacked out my badges.
I wrapped the exhaust back to the collector, sealed it with silicone spray.
pulled the carbs, Dynojet stage 3 jet kit, fully cleaned them, and re ganged them to sync.
K and N flatside air filters to finish her off.
I left her a little ugly, a little rusty in spots. Going for a bit of a Mad Max look. At least for now. Couldn't resist the Vintage Evil stickers on the back though. I sent a few photos to Dime City to thank them for the parts, they said they will put me on their media feeds. I owe you guys so much.... couldn't have done this without you. Thank you!
