No...these are gonna get the base plate changed..i got one in the storage unit. Same carbs though. These were off a 750 I think. Used them to do a start up. Gotta check the jets too.

Went to storage after work and got my bin full of racks and parts tubs. Reworked the carbs and got the set up per the proper spot for the idle knob etc etc. Verified i had 95 mains and 15 pilot jets and the float hts are at 24MM so they are set up per stock specifications now.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

Gonna be placing the order for all the brake caliper seals and dust boots tomorrow. Some of the "big ticket" items like the sprockets and chain and the new tires will have to wait a little longer though. It sure does sound great setting there idling. Got a "decent" carb sync done. #2 was a little fickle and settled in a tad high but still within pirameters set forth in the manual. Starts instantly and settles into a nice 1200 RPM idle with no problems. Im pretty happy so far.
Next will be put the Colortune in ad see what the flame color looks like and adjust accordingly.

Today was fork seals and polish fork lowers and cam end covers day. Cleaned up the fender and installed the forks. Added the horns also.

Well after two weeks of shipping time and $150.00 later, this arrived today. I cleaned it up and rewrapped it. Right P/N and 100% intact harness. All exposed connectors I soldered the joins. Its in very very good condition.

Tonights festivities included hooking up all the signals and such and doing a function check of everything. All is working as prescribed. Now for some wire ties that hold stuff to the frame and getting the Duanage Honda R/R hooked up and I think its good to go. Got an email saying a package was shipped via UPS from Deland Powersports..AKA Parts Outlaw... so there should be some tank and side cover emblems and a petcock here soon.
Next in the ordering process will be sprockets and a chain and some new airbox to carb rubber boots. Just may ride this beast down to Luckenbach TX for the Harvest Classic weekend this October. That is if i have new tires by then.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)
