Put 23 miles on the bike now that it has road worthy rubber. Man i love this bike. Quick and super responsive. Everything you'd expect it to be. I was beating the hel! out of it in a 60 MPH zone and slamming gear when i hit around 7500RPMs and then I got home to realized I had left my wallet on the desk. Glad no LEOs showed up!!!

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

Just rolled 85 miles on the clock this morning while listening intensely at the engine and exhaust sounds. Smooth as silk all the way around.

Rode out to Maxey Cycles in OKC to see my buddy that works the parts counter. hadnt seen him in a while so popped in to see how he was healing. He had almost lost a leg to some sort of serious infection but hes on the mends now. Sales folks and a few customers came out to gather round the beast. I was pretty proud at that moment.

I know how you feel. I rode my S to the local Suzuki dealership to pick up an oil filter, and the entire sales and service departments came out to look at the bike. They had never seen one and were totally blown away by it.

We need some "glamour/done" pics of your bike now, Chuck.

Very nice my friend, great job. Makes me want to get at my 1000 again this winter. It's been over a decade and 60,000kms since it's been gone over so this winter hopefully I can get to it. Main project is to re-spoke the wheels, rebuild the clutch basket and maybe change the cam chain. It'll probably take me all winter to accomplish what do in a day. LOL.
