I figured that would grab your attention. It's my barn! Picked this up while back. Not sure if its a franken bike or what. It has a 80-81 tank and tail, forks, canadian? Kph gauges. The ES stuff is all intact and all fairing stays and welds are perfect. I have lots of goodies for this one and some of it will be over my skill level, so I'm gonna need some help.
If you know me, I unfortunately spend to much time at work so progress may at times be slow so bear with me. I am also starting to gear up on a 78 GS1000 that will be turned into a GS1000S, but that's another thread.

Cool. Looks like an older bike dressed in 750 es bodywork. 750 e/es would have the square tube frame and the later design engine.

Heres were I need some help. I have a 1100e motor, the same yosh pipe as pictured, but with slingshot carbs, Kat stator and cam set up. I also have a 1176 motor, cammed, ported 34 slingshots or 36mm mikuni flatslides that would use a Bassani superbike pipe. I would like the pipes to go with those respective motors. I have my ex-race bike which is a GS1100E w/78 GS1000 bodywork and weighs about 462lbs, and I have this ES. Which ever bike uses the 1176 motor will get B12 swingarm and modern front end w/wheels, 14" shocks and a braced frame. Common sense tells me to put the 1176 motor in the ES. The shocks I have are set up for the heavier bike, the ES would look very good with modern suspension/wheels and its kind of been diddled with all ready. On the other hand a higher output motor would be nice in a lighter weight bike. But....a faster bike sure is nice with a fixed fairing.....

Looks like an 81 ET with an 83 ES fairing. A few extra bits from later models as well (like the cam end covers).

5 seats is a bit overkill though

Actually the first thing I'm doing is chopping the rear end off and adding a tractor seat. Never seen that before so I would be a trend setter and someone might actually comment.
