The flange is 50mm tall so im slightly worried about bottoming out the forks if i lower the bike to mount them on top of the triples

N.O.S points cover. Mine got gashed up in the early 2000s. I wasn't looking for one, but it popped up. $36 vs around 60 from Alpha Sport.

I've heard from multiple sources over the years that a two inch drop wont hurt or effect the steering geometry too much. I'd only worry about bottoming out the forks if you plan on joining a stunt crew. 1" = 25.4 mm, so you'll be just under 2 inches to mount them flush with the top cap.

Well i read the description on the bars wrong when i ordered them. They had a photo with various measure ments and the bars in the picture were for 50mm forks. And the flange hight on 50mm diameter forks is the same @50mm. So when i got home i measured the flange and its actually a smidge more than 31mm tall. I feel tons better about that. They will set about 1 1/4 higher that the clubmans. Putting them in almost ther same location as the ones my red bike had. Should be pretty good ride. Will be really good once i reshape the driver section of the seat. Also i was rummaging around my shop and found the rubber riser cover with the suzuki badge on it. With a little trimming it will cover the risors and make for a realy clean install. Rick, I'd like to come up and grab that tin set for the 750 probably mid January? Possibly the matching head light if thats still available, as Ive ditched the fairing idea for that bike

I've got it all waiting for you. I'm not sure where the gauges got to though. If I have time tomorrow evening, I'll look for them out in my parents barn. I found a pic of back when I got the bike, it definitely had gauges. Now I have to figure where they are.

theyre higher up than the ones that my red one had. its a very slightly leaned forward position, i like it!. my wrists dont feel cramped where as on the clubmans it was immediate pain in my wrists! havent ridden it yet though, every thing is just slightly snugged up as i forgot my metric allen set. im officially motivated again!!!
