I havent ridden with them yet, so i cant confirm or deny this, but others have stated that the bolts loosen up when you ride with similar units. After hearing about that I hit all the bolts with a small impact. If i do have the problem with them coming loose ill install lock washers

I was thrown off a bit when a Pennsylvania local referred to my cousin and me as “yins”. You ins , I think..
Regarding the clip ons, here’s a pic of my Telefix ones. About 3/4 of the way down. The hey hit the top clamp, and the1150 forks can’t be slid up due to an equalizer hose. I tightened the she-it out of the single pinch bolt. Never a problem since early 2000s. I would still keep an eye on them as I did for a few years.Last edited by dorkburger; 01-02-2018, 09:57 AM.sigpic

I put the mount upside down because i was only planning on running 1 mirror and it looked kinda goofy sticking up like an inch

Small update.
got a bunch of goodies in the mail for suzy II, one of which being the the brake master cyl for the front... well turns out it was packaged incorrectly and they accidentally sent a left hand master for a clutch.. sorting that out after i make this post.
on to the goodies, well some of them.

You got a Go Pro? {I also spy a steering stabilizer}
...I've got a cheaper version video camera but never tried it yet....I should, just can't figure where I want to mount it.

Nahh, its an eken 4k. Suppose to be on par with a go pro hero 3. So far i like it. Not really planning on mounting it on my bike, mostly just going to do daily vlogging because im bored, LOL. and that öhlins damper came off a Harley i think?! Anyways i got a hell of a deal on it, 30 dollars!! The guy i got it from changed out the fluid in it to a heavier fluid but couldn't bleed it out all the way. Theres about 1/4 inch of slop in it right now. So im gonna take it down to my buddy at the local motorcycle shop and have him look at it soon. It'll end up on my 750 eventually!

ive actually never really given this thing much thought. i knew i couldnt pass it up, but other than that nothing. the original plan was to mount it to the red 10g but i never really felt it needed it, since the steering wasnt wildly aggressive. never got head shake under accel or decel. the 750 will be very aggressive, since it will see track days. so it will most definitely need it. also im not sure what wht. oil to use with it.

Well.... you make a great point. I suppose a dab of locktite couldn't hurt either.sigpic

You guys don't worry about critical fasteners failing from chainsaw mechanical work like massively over torquing bolts at random? I like to know things are correctly tightened on motorcycles that I sit on top of while they are moving.
