1100GK Cooleylookalike and new 550 project

Hi folks. I’m back again after a summer and autumn of riding.AF54C5D5-0121-4B11-A00A-3EAC1691E102.jpg

’78 550 is my latest project. Any idea what I ask for in paint colour? It’s something between blue and green...

And this is the 1100GK without the fairing while I’m grafting in a steering damper and forkbrace

And the other side. The bike has a moderate speed head-shake at about 25mph, especially when slowing down with the bars held lightly. Probably not helped by the heavy top box carried way out back. 150mm ohlins and fork brace grafted in as winter project development. Roll on spring for more rides...

Tarozzi fork brace re-engineered to fit. I don’t know what it was intended for but it fits nicely now

Machined the bores round and of correct diameter diameter to match the funny sized fork legs

Yes it does. Mines an AirTech Ducati 900. It was a bit of a struggle to get it to fit with the clip ons I have used but that is the deal when building bikes... very pleased with the 1100. Lots of my kind of go!
