Another sleeping GS gets bought and woken up

So with my latest 80GS1100/90 GSXR1100 frankenbike project stalled due to motivation and Texas summer heat ....... with an astonishing show of logic I bought another project home :

83 1100E that did 14000 miles in its first 3 years, 1500 miles in the next 13 and then sat for 19 years
Good history file , title and after a weekends work running well.

    so that’s 78 GS1000, 82 750E with 82 1100E motor and gsxr running gear, frankenbike , 83 1100E and 2008 Bking

    i May have Suzuki issues

78 GS1000C- Now sporting 1100E suspension and numerous goodies
    82 GS750E/82 1100E/ GSXR Frankenstein bike completed
83 1100E "rescue bike" saved from the barn
2008 Bking - Torque Torque Torque
    Next project slowly coalescing

    Lucky you.
1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

      Looks great!
Are you going to leave it stock?

If it has been unmolested I'd keep it that way.

They only come out of the showroom once and that is a nice example of the model.

          but it is yours......

Nice, but it has an incorrect chrome exhaust... it's a lost cause. Hot rod time

Seriously though , a good looking bike. I'm sure that you will do it justice.
