    '78 GS750E slight overhaul

Finally took the bike off the road for some necessary tidy-up!

    - new Tarozzi fork stanchions and seals. The originals were badly pitted and hard chrome was flaking. Cost to have them re-chromed was about the same as new.
    - new paint and decals to tank, side covers and tail. Colour matched to original. Tank dents removed.
    - new wiring harness. The original was bodged so got hold of a NOS harness for a 750L. Slightly different to 750E but easy to mod.
    - front disc calipers and master cylinder overhaul. New OEM seals etc.
    - new brake lines (HEL black braided).
    - new headlight bucket OEM.
    - new instrument panel incl. back plate. Purchased from CMSNL.
    - various nuts, bolts, washers, seals all OEM.

Bike initially ran on 3 cylinders only. #4 carb was the culprit (float valve stuck).
    Test ride proceeded without issue.
Weather in the SW of Western Australia is not really conducive to nice long rides at present, so come Spring I'll be out and about! I'll also post some more pics then.
