Amazing how that bike pulls so strong in top gear. I didn't think the music was too much. Sometimes you can barely hear the bike.
Just to put this in perspective, these guys are doing 1:36 and 1:37 times at Philip Island for the Island Classic, right? That's friggen amazing. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that would put them mid pack in a WSB race about 10 years ago.
They're not just fast for bikes of that era, they're fast for any bikes of any era.

I've just got back from Sydney after attending this meeting. Although Cam Donald was fast, he was being kept honest by Michael Dibb (Honda). From memory Dibb won three of their five races. At the Barry Sheene meeting in New Zealand last October Cam told me that the bike was making about 140 hp. I went to the Motogp at Philip Island in 2004 and from memory the front row qualified at 1:31 or thereabouts, so these old bikes (with their young riders) are seriously fast.Originally posted by CivilRock View Post
