Peter Starr's films (in those days, no video) were WAY before their time, especially in the editing area. Never forget the one he did of the first Laguna AMA race that Cal Rayborn won on a Harley. The leaders, and some not too-far-back markers, all got a slice on film, passing, dicing, etc, and at the appropriate moment, there was Cal, full screen, with a Santana track blasting with perfect editing for maximum effect, friggin' hair-raising, still.
What might have been. Dark days for sure for Suzuki racing in New Zealand, and the world-sigpicSome of the totally committed probably should be.
