The most amazing thing to me is they are only one second away from Top Fuel times on a street tire. I was talking with Johnny Dobrin and he was telling me how they are making so much power now that they have to turn the power down to around 600 hp but can make well into hp in the 700's. At 38 psi of boostMy stable

1 second would be 50-75 grand or more extra on top of the crazy money they have already spent.
pull the neck back and add 20 inches extra worth of swing arm... no wheelie bars are needed.
impressive yes but deeeep pockets are needed plus a talented fly weight.
like i said impressive run for sure and this team has both.

Wow! Amazing!
What is the launch technique on a bike like that? Sounds like he was against the rev limiter at launch.Ed

in the old days you had to slide the clutch with your hand...an art that is slowing going away.

That is crazy. I am no physics expert but I would imagine at 600 hp and 500 lbs and a tire that held it would go even quicker. It appears that the only limiting factors are clutch & tire technology. I love watching the no bar guys. Crazy fun
