Big T,
I think they are in a very different league financially. #84 was an engine in a wrecked frame of a road bike when I first saw it 3 months ago. In the true privateer spirit it was built in a local workshop with a range of help. Both riders will proably enjoy the experience and the effort to get their bike to the line.Johno

Tim Tom
If anyone is unfamiliar with the event, I recommend reading this article. This is the first time that the US has send a team over, and one of our riders in Cycleworld's Nick Ienatsch. Granted the British team includes a former MotoGP rider, and several winning Road Racers, so were are the underdogs for sure. While team USA is running mostly TZ750's there are a few GS based race bikes in our garage.
Also an update for you guys... Bike are on track and we have some awesome pictures to drool over.
Cam Donald, Jed Metcher, Paul Byrne, Ryan Farquhar, Ryan Taylor, Shawn Giles, Steve Martin, Bimota YB5, Honda RC30, Matchless, McIntosh, Jeremy McWilliams
Some GS highlights for you to enjoy.
Another site with some great shots.
Island Classic 2016 - Beau Beaton, Glen Richards, Jeremy McWilliams, John McGuinness, Steve Martin, Adler, Conor Cummins, Jed Metcher, Moto Martin, Roger Winfield, Ryan Farquhar, Shawn Giles
Finally a few shots stolen from another forum.
I don't know about you all, but I find all this pretty damn exciting!
