Isn't Savoie on some kind of Suzuki twin?

I find working on my motorcycle mildly therapeutic when I'm not cursing.

No. The bodywork is advertised as a TL1000 but by rule the motor is a 2 valve GS motor with a factory case. This is the only reason new 1150 cases are available from Suzuki. They are limited to 1753CC, all have aftermarket internals and heads. The case is probably the only Suzuki part. Harleys can be 160CI or 2621 CC and through a quirk in the rules and a lack of Suzuki interest in getting a new case approved has not one Harley part. Both motors make 375-4?? HP. The rules limit technology, a Busa or ZX14 could kill anything out there with factory support and development. Sadly, Pro Stock car is nearly dead, and bike will soon follow unless they change the rules. It's just entertainment now, not something you or I could build towards someday. John Force has a $25 million annual budget, Schumacher is probably more.
