Sad news....
Sad to hear this.... I met Gavin in Monterey 2017....I was going to The Quail Motorcycle Gathering yo show my Wes Cooley bike... we went to Gradmas Kitchen for breakfast and there he was... I knew him from the documentary on Marty Moates and Carlsbad... he saw me looking at him and he came over to our table to introduce himself... I told him I was showing my bike at the show and he said he was a judge and could be bribed..lol... he told us stories about him and Wes....funny guy...he was judging British bikes...mine was Japanese... but I won a price and there he was at the stage telling me “I told those guys to vote for you..because you actually rode your bike 1200 miles to be here...that is what this is all about”! What a thrill for me.... I’ll bever forget Gavin taking the time to be so nice to me! Rip my friend.
