Will try to help ... am I right in thinking you want to install a two-step ignition system on your drag race bike?

If so, what are you running currently for your ignition?

        all dyna tek is fantastic

shift minder - shift counter - drl 400. all wire colors match, and work together great.
SUZUKI , There is no substitute

sorry forgot to respond, the drl 400 can that be used along with the dyna computer? i have custom spark tables and i can rev to 12,500 rpms. from the listing on dyna web sight it doesnt look like you can set launch control over 6000 rpms?

I am just wondering why your saying that you can rev to 12,500rpm. More rpm doesn’t mean more HP. And it is your cam timing that determines what rpm you shift at not your ignition.

i under stand more rpm doesnt make more power. my peak hp is at about 9000 peak tq about 7900??? been 10 years since i "built" the motor, it does sound really good above 9500 rpms lol i dont really rev that high just am able to with all the head work, altho the cams are starting to show wear as i think my oil pump is starting to fail..... this weekend might be the day the motor goes boom. only reading 4psi at idle and only 13 ish at 9000 rpms. pretty sure it should have more. altho google isnt any help to know specs.

Google might not be much help, but Suzuki helps quite a bit. On page 81 of the factory manual:

                  - Install pressure gauge to the gallery plug over the points.
                  - Warm the engine 10 min. at 2000 RPM in summer, 20 minutes in winter
                  - Increase engine speed to 3000 RPM, read the gauge.
                  - Pressure should be above 1.4 PSI, but should also be below 7.1 PSI.
