Well, Dovi is coming back, so the age tips a bit more to the aged

There's always young guys coming up. Even Rossi was young, once
    1978 GS 1000 (since new)
1979 GS 1000 (The Fridge, superbike replica project)
    1978 GS 1000 (parts)
    1981 GS 850 (anyone want a project?)
    1981 GPZ 550 (backroad screamer)
    1970 450 Mk IIID (THUMP!)
    2007 DRz 400S
    1999 ATK 490ES
    1994 DR 350SES

This is the generation who've grown up with on-board technology. i doubt many would know how to ride a 500 2 stroke which had a savage edge to the power band.
They are all conditioned to linear power curves now.

Amazing race today! So much fun to watch. I don't want to give anything way for those planning to watch later but it was a real classic in my opinion.

Yeah, excellent battle during the final laps. It'll be on youtube for decades, get millions of play backs.

On another note; I really like those double trumpet pipes on the Suzuki.
