Rebuild your E cam chain tensioner on the bike!

After rebuilding a few tensioners I decided to rebuild one on the bike. That was a great moment because it simplified things so much!

Here's a quick rundown on the order:
-use 12 mm to remove lock screw
-R&R above and slap it back on, adjust
-use 10 mm to loosen thumb screw nut
-use 30 mm (felt a little loose but don't have 29 to test) to remove entire spring gadgetry
-R&R above and slap it back on, when putting this back on you have to keep winding out the thumb screw while tightening the large nut. If you don't the tensioner will jam, now test action of thumb screw

If you aren't comfortable doing all of the work on the bike do loosen the 30 mm nut before taking the tensioner off. It is just about impossible afterwards. If you think your tensioner gasket is leaking change it after rebuilding the tensioner.

    Cheers, Steve
