    Master Cylinder replacement

If you ever have to replace a front master cylinder on a jap bike, go for the cheapest of the "big four" (honda, suzuki, kawi, yamaha). They are all the same, except for the number of discs. Meaning, a dual disc jap bike can take the master cylinder of any other dual disc jap bike.

    Thought this was interesting.

Almost true. The number of discs means nothing. The thing to look for is the bore of the master cylinder. There will be only two choices - 5/8" or 14mm. This number should be cast into the M/C body somewhere. As long as you keep the same bore, then any brand M/C will work on any brand bike.
