removing electrical connections for cleaning
found an interesting one this evening, if you want to remove the male side plugs from some of our round pinned, plastic covered plugs, a bic pen ink barrel will fit right over them, closing the wings that spread to hold them in. just pull on the wire gently and it should slip right out!!Tags: None

Can you describe that again? I don't follow. I'd like to clean up all the electrical connections on my 750 but most of those round ones are really stuck. They don't look corroded, but I'm afraid I'll rip the wires out if I pull any harder. I've though about just cutting them off and putting new ones on, but I can't find any aftermarket ones that have such a good seal on them.
Thanks

I believe he was describing how to remove the wires (pins) from the plastic connectors. A small screw driver will also work.1981 GS 1000GLX.
