I got it for oh... I say... about $75.24. If you do not have one already then what are you waiting for. I even get a $10.00 rebate when I send in the proper paperwork for it. You got to love it and just go get one. It works fine and has all the bells and whistles the one for $179.99 has. Same model to be exact. No different. If you just want to be stupid then go ahead and run your bike into a street sign that reads S.T.O.P.

Have fun in all you do.

    My bad...

I got to excited and losted in teh wrong forum... Correction made already though. This even fits here if you want a trick to fix that hole in your wallet or that arguement that you are about to have with the spouse on spending to much on one item. Dont be a loser. Peace D.

Only problem with this lift (and similar lifts) is that they don't generally include the "V" adapters that you'll need to clear the exhaust pipes on our bikes.

Sam's Club sold a similar lift two years ago that included the adapters ... it was around $90 at the time. You could also buy the adapter plate separately (for use on the Torin, etc.)

      Regards,

          Helping out on the real...

I am only trying to help out the ones that want to be able to fix their own bike and have money in their pockets. Just looking out for great deals is something that I have a nac for. 1980 gs550l showroom condition just not running and stored inside for the past four years for free. Hmm. Motorcycle cover at walmart for 19.99. Motorcycle maintenance stand for 75.24 (oops 65.24 rebate just showed up today). Some fresh rubber( front and rear chings shens - forgive my spelling) and brake pads from dealer for 110.00 total. Some fresh gas after cleaning an almost perfect tank out with rubbing alcohol together for about 7.00. Title, tag, and paperwork for N.C. state 75.00. I think that I have made some good calls as far as keeping money in my pocket to put into completely stripping her down and modifyling her streetfighter style for next year. Oh yea, she will get a sportbike front end, a sportbike rear end, and new paint job to keep the classic look, a gsxr750 slingshot motor in her. What do you think?

            No not really...

Hey there gs crew. I had no trouble lifting my bike. I had no trouble STRAPPING it on and lifting the whole bike to remove both tires. Straps from frame to lift of course. I even left it sitting for about three days and it didnt role off or over. I feel safe with it there so off to work I go. I am also going to remove the factory motor and install a gsxr motor in it probably next year or even this summer if I get the bug. No I am not a motivational speaker but I don't take you cannot do that like that. I rebuilt my first car engine from top to bottom three years ago and am still rolling my ride. All I had was a one car garage, a engine lift, a engine stand, some rags, a set of coveralls, one underhood light, some basic tools, a torque wrench, a shop manual, and some time. I did it myself and saved myself alot of money. I didn't stop there I rebuild my first motorcycles motor and tranny. Now I did send the blocks out to get honed and bored out properly but I did the rest myself. It was put together by a man why can't I do it. Oops DONE and both vehicles are still running with no problem.
