    Dumb tip, but it works!

While changing oil in my new 83' GS1100E, I had the gallon jug of oil in one hand and couldn't find a funnel anywhere. I took a glance at my nearly empty 16 oz Arrowhead waterbottle, and eyeballed the hole in the filler plug.

Drained the water and cut the top section off've the bottle and wiped it clean (ten seconds max). It is a perfect fit. While you might have to hold it up with a finger (to prevent it tipping out), it did work quite well and I got the oil in successfully. \\/

A small plastic Coke bottle makes a great funnel for putting oil in cars. I've been doing it for years - just cut the bottom off.

The top 4 or 5 inches of a plastic 2 liter soda bottle works well too. I even use this in the kitchen when I need a funnel for something (as long as it isn't too hot).

lol, just use the oil bottles, cut as you want. Some are offset, some have wide-mouths, etc...
