Guitar strings to clean carbs

Go to your local music store and buy guitar strings form .009 to .018 to clean the small openings in crudded up carbs that have been sitting with gas in them. They run $1 for each size by thousandths. You can clean all the little holes in the jet holders with them too and the .009 works well on pilot jets of the BS series

... or just scrounge the floor any place where electric guitars are played. (Bars, practice spaces, etc.) There will be plenty of "E" string scraps around.


My boss' son uses one of the rooms in our building as a practice space for his band. A little searching one day and I had plenty of thin, high-quality wire for carb cleaning.
