Fork seal removal
I just sucessfully used an old hammer to easily pry out old fork seals. Just throw the fork tube in a vice with the jaws on the brake caliper mounting bolts. Then insert the curved nail pulling part of a hammer so it just barley reaches under the seal. You want to make sure your not going to scrape the inside of the fork tube with the hammer. Then just pull down the handle and they pop right out.Tags: None

You can get a seal puller for about 10 bucks, but, what the hay, a hammer is free! I also think that since the hammer hook end is wider than a seal puller, it might even work better!
